Guide for Use

Induction is a method of artificially or prematurely stimulating childbirth in a woman.

Augmentation is the process of facilitating further labor and includes, but is not limited to, the use of Oxytocin (Pitocin).

Select 'Unknown' if you do not know whether the mother's labor was induced or augmented, or if you do not know which of those two methods was used.
